It’s more than pounds, shillings and pence 

This won’t work if people don’t feel the direct benefits of the town centre’s transformation. 

Access to new and better services. Improved health and wellbeing. 

Jobs and training opportunities for themselves and their families. 

And more choice and quality in terms of housing options. 

All these things – and more – count, for without them all we have is bricks and mortar. We are committed to consulting widely and continuously with local people and stakeholders so that we find new and innovative ways to shape the project’s outcomes so that as many people as possible benefit – as well as feeling that their voices have been heard. 

We’ve already formed our Youth Panel and we have plans for wider community engagement.. Both will provide a vital two-way flow to guide our programme.
